Sleepers and raised beds
Sleeper beds and retaining walls
Timber sleepers do a lot of quiet work in a garden: holding back a change in level, framing a bed, or making a planter that lasts. The gallery shows sleeper raised beds set between paving and lawn against a fresh fence. Fiona had her old raised beds cleared, including the soil and rotting railway sleepers, and new edging cemented in, and was very pleased with the result.
Katie had planters built and praised the quality, finish and communication. Whether it is one planter or a full set of terraced beds, they are built to hold ground and take the weather.

Brickwork, walls and piers
Garden walls and brickwork
Brickwork often comes with a fence or a driveway: a front boundary wall, a capped pier, or a gate post that needs rebuilding. Lucia had a brick column for her front gate repaired as part of her fencing job, and the gallery shows stock-brick boundary walls and piers alongside the fencing.
Hard landscaping is a listed Kane service, and it is what ties a garden together: the walls, steps and edges that the paving, planting and fences all meet.

Cleared my raised beds including soil and rotting railway sleepers. Added new edging that is cemented in. I am very pleased with results.

Common questions
Do you build timber sleeper raised beds and planters?
Yes. The gallery shows sleeper raised beds and planters, and reviews describe both new planters built and old beds cleared and re-edged. They are built to hold ground and take the weather.
Can you repair or build brick walls and gate piers?
Yes. Reviews and photos cover boundary walls, piers and a repaired brick column for a front gate. Brickwork usually goes hand in hand with fencing or paving on the same job.
Is hard landscaping planned with the rest of the garden?
Yes, and that is the point of one team. Walls, steps, sleepers and edges are set out so the paving, lawn and fencing all meet cleanly, rather than being added on afterwards.
