An honest 4.97, not a flawless one. Every one of the 20 reviews scored a straight 5 out of 5 overall, so the mean of the overall scores is exactly 5.0. The 4.97 headline is TrustATrader's rounded composite of the six sub-scores above: punctuality, cleanliness and value sit a fraction under 5, which pulls it to 4.97. Only 2 of the 20, Tom (November 2025) and Tommy (October 2024), dipped below 5 on any sub-score. Latest review 11 June 2026; insurance verified via TrustATrader (Simply Business), 16 April 2026.
Steven was fantastic from start to finish. He was extremely helpful throughout the planning stages and did an excellent job of laying my garden terrace, frequently checking in with me to make sure I was happy. He had keen attention to detail and came back in his own time to do some finishing touches, and was generally a pleasure to have around. I felt entirely confident entrusting him with the work and have happily recommended him to neighbours.

Twelve of the 20 reviews name Steven by name, and a fifth are repeat customers.
Steven did a splendid job on this fence. He had to cut the panels to fit over a wall, it was intricate work and he came up with the right solution. He also chose tongue-and-groove effect panels which are far more attractive than standard panels. Excellent service all round.
Steven did a fantastic job of replacing and fixing some broken fencing in my garden, as well as replacing a rotten wooden front gate. He was incredibly helpful, friendly and polite and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend him.

From the initial consultation till end of the job, Steven was polite and professional. He helped me choose the suitable materials and suggested how to keep things on our budget. The fence looks neat, beautiful and I received compliments from my neighbour. Thank you Steven!

Very responsive and competent work replacing a fence post. Have used Steven and team before, and would do again.
I have used Kane Fencing & Landscapes on a couple of occasions, previously at my old property for a fence repair and gate installation, and at my new poperty for a new side gate to be fitted. On both occasions, communication was excellent through the process, and very happy with the finished work.
Steve was extremely helpful in choosing my fencing and very efficient and precise with the quotations. He was always polite and jobs well done. I will definitely recommend him.

Helpful, flexible and great communication! Super quality fence and gate, am really pleased!
Steven has provided fencing for the front of my house as well as repairing a brick column for my front gate and replacing my side gate. This is the second time using his services as he also provided the side fencing to my house a little while ago. Steven provides an excellent service and I’m delighted with his work and find his prices very competitive. He is also a really great person and extremely professional and accommodating. Very lucky to find him!
